Nupur Arts in collaboration with Kamala Devam Company curates a cohort of six dance artists from across the UK for the 'Emerge 2023' artist development and mentorship programme.

The programme mentors the artists to create their own six-minute dance solos in 5 weeks, whilst guiding them in developing their unique choreographic voices and creative methods in original sound design, poetry and dance filmmaking. Additionally, this program also gave the artists overall professional development by providing one to one sessions with industry professionals in the fields of lighting design, photography and videography. Each artist was also offered a bursary.
