Drawing from one poem and two myths, thework explores uncertainty and the weight offreedom using text and movement. Ideas andinspirations from ‘The Road not Taken’ byRobert Frost, ‘Inanna’s Descent into theUnderworld’: a myth from ancientMesopotamia, and ‘The Island of Calypso’ fromthe Greek myth Odyssey, all intertwine toquestion how we find stability when the thingswe can rely on are left behind.
